Three and a half years: C and imperative programming first, then databases and operating systems, then numerical methods and the basics of AI.
.NET MAUI · group project
A mobile app for people with 3D printers — a notebook for filaments and spools. We started with a shared core: base ViewModels, validation, services. I built the filament module. Then it stalled: MAUI was full of bugs back then, and the scope got too big for a small team. First time I saw how little of what you plan actually ships.
Blazor WASM · Go API · group project
My first run at the problem Senswave solves now: connect to your own MQTT brokers, add a device, and set up its controls yourself — buttons, state buttons, sliders. Blazor on the front, Go on the API. This project connected me with Smart Home world.

Where I got into .NET for real: C# services, containers, CI/CD with Jenkins — and the first time I ran into problems that only show up at cloud scale.
ARGB LED controller for Raspberry Pi Pico W
LED strip, few ways to control it: the button on the case, MQTT, HTTP, and an installer that flashes the firmware straight from the browser. First version was created during studies on AGH. Later there was a little time for improvements.

Went from intern to full-time. Real work now: a slightly custom high-availability setup on PostgreSQL, queues and background jobs, performance tuning, and building features from start to finish — including bringing OpenTelemetry into the team.

The thesis I didn't stop working on after the defence
A .NET backend with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ and a server-side MQTT connection. The React Native app gets live device state over SignalR.
Two years after the first commit
Time finally came for improving old stuidies project. Few bugs fixed. Few improvements introduced. Quite easy to prepare and use.
More devices for Senswave, more things off the printer, and a master's thesis to write.
